Dear friends, family, and supporters –

Just wanted you all to know we made it back safe and sound from Savannah! We (my roommate Caroline and I) had a wonderful time being on the road, meeting so many new friends, recruiting for AIM, and sharing our hearts about God’s call on our lives!

I have a couple of stories that I plan to share with you (via blog) but for now I just want to say a few thank yous…

THANK YOU Sharon Brown and Savannah Christian School – as well as all the wonderful teachers and students we met there! I appreciated the opportunity to visit and to speak, and am so thankful you let me come!

THANK YOU to Regina and Philip Palmer and Southside Baptist Church for opening up your Sunday School class, and to all those in attendance who listened, asked questions, and prayed so passionately over us. We are thankful for each of you and I’m so blessed to have your support! I pray it is a long and fruitful partnership!

THANK YOU to Rob and Gayle Grotheer and Isle of Hope UMC for rolling out the red carpet for us! You welcomed us with open arms! It was such a blessing to meet you and all the other adults and students we got to speak to. Thank you for being a church that is PASSIONATE about missions!

To both of the churches and school – I hope this is the beginning of a long relationship, and that we’ll continue to stay in touch! I pray God gives me the opportunity to return in the future and to continue sharing about missions with you all!

And finally, last but certainly not least,

THANK YOU to my dear Aunt Angie (one of my great supporters) for putting up with us and letting us stay with you during our visit! Thanks for helping me set up speaking opportunities, and for opening up your home and making sure we were well fed and well cared for all week! I love you so much!
