Hello friends and family! It's time for our Friday Update again! There's not too much exciting news to share with you this week, so instead let me list a few things I'm thankful for today!

Unpacked bags. For the first time since January I have not only unpacked our bags, I've put them away! Our luggage is in the closet, not to be removed for at least 7 weeks! PRAISE THE LORD! As much as we love to travel (and as much as we miss traveling overseas), this winter is giving us a much needed break. We're looking forward to being home in Michigan until Christmas, then down South for a couple of weeks, and finally home again for a few more months! We're glad to be settling in even more, and finishing more 'home set up'. Being a 'frequent flyer' isn't always fun. Praise God for REST from the road :)

Free massage. Yes, God is THAT good! I've had a pain in the neck - literally- for several months now, and no, his name is not Rusty.  ;) I've come home from every training camp with knots, pains, and muscle spasms in my neck and shoulders. A few weeks ago my hair stylist gave me a card for a FREE half hour massage. YES! I cashed that baby in yesterday and it was WONDERFUL! God is such a God of detail :)

Soliciting the solicitor. I'm still laughing about this one. I came home yesterday to find a 'membership paper' from the 'Michigan Water Conservationists'. Why? Because the lady came door to door, told Rusty we were facing 'IMMINENT DOOM' and my sweet husband had pity on her and gave her $12. (After all our fundraising struggles, it's hard not to empathize with someone asking for money). Here's where it gets good though; he then asked her inside, showed her all our Sound of Hope merchandise, tried to get her to buy something (to support orphans) and sent her home with one of our prayer cards!!! HA!

Family dinner. This week's family dinner was even larger than
normal with visiting staff in town! Casey, Erin, Dennis, Lynette, &
Kelly all joined us at the Hindes house for dinner. It was wonderful to
see them all! We had a great teaching time, prayer time, and good
fellowship together!

Red, yellow, orange & green. Those are the colors we are seeing around here. It's FALL, and it is BEAUTIFUL outside!!! The leaves up here are really incredible - it's breathtaking just to drive around town. I took a few pictures in our yard this week for your viewing pleasure so.... ENJOY!

We have a grape arbor in the back yard of the home we're renting...
these are some of our YUMMY grapes!
