For those of you wondering, we are still modeling for our friend’s iStock business. If you’d told me we’d be modeling to support
our mission work and help get our non-profit off the ground I would’ve
laughed at you, but the little bit of extra money we make doing this
has been a huge blessing! (and though it can be tiring, we have a lot
of fun in the process). Plus, we really love our photographers and their adorable kids!
Since we last blogged about our shoots, we’ve done three new
shoots, and booked another one for this week. The pictures from our
last few shoots are not all online yet (there were 800 images from our
wedding shoot alone, so they are taking a while to get edited and
upload to iStock!) But I thought I’d catch you up on what we’ve been doing and share a few of our favorites from the shoots that are up….
Then went downtown for some shots on one of the cute benches there. These pics turned out great, despite the awkwardness of the guy who came out of his store to watch and yell encouragements at us. Bizarre! (the guy in the picture with us is Shawn – one of our photographers).

We did this shoot in our photographer’s back yard. I was SO excited to use the beautiful picnic basket we were given for our wedding!
We also shot some in this amazing field of flowers. The only not fun part of this was Rusty teasing us about seeing a snake in the waist-high grass (which completely terrified Rosie – the photograher – and me!) It was a lot of fun though, and turned out a couple of my favorite pictures of all the shoots!)

There are very few of these up, so I can only share a few “favorites”. As I said above there were over 800 shot this day, so it will take some time for them to all get edited, uploaded, and approved. Of course I LOVED the opportunity to wear my wedding dress again (this time without any of the stress!) I’m also really proud of the bouquet and boutonniere we used – I made them myself!
Over the next few weeks, I’ll be posting favorites from our Business shoot, Cooking shoot, Christmas & New Years shoots, and Fall Shoot. So, stay tuned for those!
If you want to see more pictures now, our photographers created a lightbox on iStock (which is a page where you can view them all at once). There are only about 250 up right now (and some shoots only have 3 or 4 images) but as they are edited and uploaded to iStock over the next few days/weeks/months they will appear at this link:
