A quick update!

And I mean quick – as the internet place is closing (oh man how I miss free wi-fi)…

 

I have a 2 or 3 part blog in the works about what God has been teaching me this week when it comes to Identity (God had some great lessons in mind when He asked the ‘pageant girl’ to fast makeup! Can’t wait to share them with you!) and I will definitely post them as soon as I get some time…

 

Until then –

• The team is doing GREAT! And I’m loving being with them! God is working in us and through us in amazing ways! I can’t believe we only have a week left here!
• God is opening doors for new ministries through what we’re doing, and we’re hoping to have more AIM teams follow us to continue meeting these needs after we’re gone.
• My co-leader Frank is incredible, and so is our AWESOME contact Kevin – thanks to both of those guys I’m doing SO well emotionally, spiritually, and physically – they’re taking great care of me 🙂
• I FOUND MY CELL PHONE! Praise the Lord – thank you for praying! I found it the day after I posted that prayer request – rolled up in a pair of socks (apparently, this was my genius idea to hide it away in a ‘safe place’ where no robbers would find it… and where I wouldn’t find it either… oops)
• I found out I’ll be camping with the World Racers for most of my time in Swaziland, if not all of it – HA- are you laughing yet?! I’m so excited to get there and get to work, but I was NOT prepared for CAMPING! And apparently, we will be camping near lions, cobras, and black mambas… AGHHHH!!! Lord give me strength! START PRAYING PLEASE!!!
