of Africa and Atlanta’s homeless. Can you imagine spending the
holiday’s alone and on the streets? Our hope is to give these people
something to celebrate about.
Please join us on Sunday, December
14th from 7pm – 10pm for an evening of music, refreshments and giving
back to those in need. We will also have authentic African purses for sale along with Sound of Hope T-shirts. The event is free,
however a monetary or coat donation of at the door would be greatly
appreciated. Checks are accepted and should be made out to Adventures
in Mission or AIM.
This Holiday party will be benefiting 2 organizations – The Sound of Hope & One Warm Coat.
The
Sound of Hope is a not for profit organization that uses the power of
music to “break the silence” and raise awareness about the thousands of
orphans in Swaziland, Africa. The funds raised at this event will be
going towards building an orphanage in Swaziland.
One Warm
Coat is a yearly coat drive that benefits Samaritan House, Open Door
Community, Atlanta Day Shelter for Women & Children, and Metro
Atlanta Task Force for the Homeless. Please donate your gently used
coats and jackets. We will have boxes placed at the door.
