It's been a long week and an even longer day, but PRAISE THE LORD, I think I have everything I need all packed up for India! (including lice repellent spray - thanks to all of you who gave me great advice on lice prevention-- and YES, it all fit into my ONE backpack that weighs less than 35 lbs! PRAISE JESUS - He still works miracles!) Thanks to everyone who prayed!

Now it's time to get some more last minute stuff done. For any of you I haven't had a chance to email back or call back- I'm SO sorry! I'm just out of time, sadly. I do want you to know though, that you all mean the world to me and I hope to be in touch again soon. I love you all SO much and I'm incredibly thankful that each and every one of you are in my life!!! And your comments and emails make my day!

Final thoughts

- I don't care if I get lice (though I'm PRAYING I don't!) as long as I get to spend time with the children. LOTS of time and lots of hugs... I can't wait!!!

- I can't believe how little I'm taking with me - I have no snacks (and I'm not sure how I'll do with Indian food), very little medicine, not enough clothes for the trip, and less than half of everything else that I would normally take, but I really do trust that God is going to take care of me! Down to the last little detail! It's a liberating feeling!

I hope to do another blog before I leave in a few hours, but just in case I can't - here's a little something to make you laugh. This video was made after Mom stressed all day about how she "didn't know how" and had gotten all sorts of different instructions from different nurses - which made for a very nervous patient!!! I thought I'd let you enjoy my late-night melodramatic family time - hope you get a little laugh! ;)
