               GREAT NEWS!

 

Rusty is HOME!!! That's right, he's FINALLY home from 11 months on The World Race. He got in late Friday night - safe and sound (PRAISE GOD!) and has been resting at home with his family. And now, it's FINALLY time for me to see him!!!

 

It's been 345 days since we were together in the US, and I can't tell you how excited I am that this day has come! This Thanksgiving, I'm going to have a lot to be thankful for :)  I leave early in the morning (Wednesday) for my flight to Memphis, where he'll pick me up and drive me to Arkansas. I've been saving up my vacation time, so we'll be together from the 26th - December 9th, enjoying our time with one another and meeting friends, family, and loved ones.

 

Please pray I get everything done I need to before leaving (of course I'm running around like a crazy person trying to prepare to be gone for 2 weeks!) Please pray that everything goes smoothly with my flight- after waiting this long to see him I don't think I could handle any delays or cancellations! Please also pray for our time together - that it will be restful, stress-free, and FUN! Pray too for safe travels; we'll be driving A LOT over the next couple of weeks!

 

I love you all so much and appreciate your support more than you know. Thanks for always lifting me up in your prayers, and for including Rusty in those prayers too! You have been a wonderful support system for us over the past year. We both love you lots!
